Seismic Events is a limited liability company that focuses on sponsorship sales and special event planning.
Formed in early 2001, Seismic Events was created to service the expanding needs of The Bauserman Group and its clients. Once in place Seismic Events focused on special events such as grand openings, promotional events, and conventions. Within six months of its creation, Seismic Events was asked to help the University of Nevada Athletic Department with their sponsorship sales.
In that same year Seismic Events won the contract to be the exclusive sales arm of University of Nevada Athletics. From day one, Seismic Events made a positive impact on the program’s financial situation by creating new and innovative revenue sources, and producing a sharp increase in sales.
The following year was spent producing incremental growth at the University of Nevada and overseeing more special events. So successful were Seismic’s efforts at the University that management at Lawlor Events Center tapped the company to take on the primary role within their organization as it related to advertising inventory sales.
The results at Lawlor Events Center were strong and immediate as Seismic Events brought a new sales strategy to the table. The strategy was simple bring rates up to the national average, broaden the sales effort, and take client service to a new high. Now in its second calendar year of sales, Lawlor Events Center’s revenue continues to grow.
Most recently Seismic Events was awarded the television contract for the University of Nevada Athletic Program. The 2005/2006 football and basketball teams have had more combined games televised than in any previous year.
Seismic Events’ philosophy is to become a “true” strategic partner with its clients to produce results. To date, that philosophy and a strong work ethic have produced exciting results for all of Seismic’s clients and they’re not done yet!
Seismic Events falls under its parent company, The Bauserman Group, a full-service communications agency with 15 years of experience in developing strategic marketing processes. In addition, Jim Bauserman, owner, is also a partner in one of Sacramento’s most successful post production companies. It is these skills, experiences and assets, along with a proven track record for sponsorship sales that make Seismic Events the best and most well-rounded partner for the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority(RSCVA).
